Dalbam Studio
Strike a Pose With Your Teens at Chinatown's Korean Photobooth Studio!
Dalbam Studio is a self serve Korean photobooth studio in Montreal's Chinatown, inspired by the photo studios found across South Korea. Rather than a single booth, the studio has five rooms, each set up with its own style, so teens can move from one look to the next. It describes itself as Montreal's only Korean photobooth, and no reservation is needed, which makes it an easy addition to an afternoon in Chinatown.

- Five Rooms, Five Different Looks: Each of the studio's five rooms has its own style, so teens can try several setups in one visit and leave with a different set of photos from each.
- High Angle and Low Angle Booths: Among its rooms, Dalbam Studio has a high angle booth that shoots from above and a low angle booth that shoots from below.
- Props and Accessories for Your Photos: A selection of props and accessories is available at the front of the studio, free to use during your shoot.
- You Control the Final Result: Before each session, you choose your frame layout, photo style, and number of shots on the booth's screen, so teens can decide exactly how their strip or print will look.
- Seasonal and Special Event Frames: Dalbam Studio has introduced new frames over time, and has previously offered limited time event frames, such as one for Mother's Day.
Recommended Audience: This is a fun outing for parents with teens and young adults in Montreal who enjoy photography, Korean pop culture, or simply want a lighthearted keepsake from a day out with friends or family.

Some things to consider during your visit:
-
Each Booth Is a Separate Session: Every room is paid for individually at its own screen. If your teens want to try several booths, plan your budget accordingly.
-
Staff Are Not Always On Site: Since the studio is self serve, staff are not always on site. If a booth stops working or something goes wrong with your session, Dalbam Studio can be reached through Instagram (@dalbam.studio) or by email at dalbam.studio@gmail.com, and has stated it will resolve issues and issue refunds when needed. Having a charged phone on hand makes it easy to reach out on the spot.
- Parking in Chinatown Takes Patience: Street parking around Chinatown can be hard to find, so taking the metro is often the easier option.
Disclosure: We received complimentary photobooth sessions from Dalbam Studio in exchange for our coverage.
