Bakelab is all about hands-on workshops in small groups with tips, tricks, and lots of goodies to take home!

At the LAB, everyone from beginner to advanced bakers are welcome. You can learn the basics or add to your impressive recipe repertoire.

Highlights:

• We had the chance to participate in the Macarons with Ellen Workshop, and our instructor Ellen was exceptionally well-prepared. She shared numerous helpful tips and tricks, along with clear scientific explanations that guided us through every step of making the perfect macarons.
• At the Lab, baking becomes a fun social activity. Instead of participants baking individually in separate workstations, participants form small groups and work together.
• At the end of the two-hour hands-on baking class, participants get a copy of the recipe and a box of baked creations to take home.
• Group sizes are kept small so everyone gets a chance to measure, sift, mix and taste.
• Group parties, private classes, and kids classes also available. 
• Tea is also served during the workshops.

Some things to consider during your visit:

1) The workshops offered at the Lab involve participants working together in small groups. If you are thinking of a baking workshop where you would be settled into your own work station, and have minimal interaction with others, this may not the right workshop for you. Lab's workshops are designed to encourage participants to work with one another. Baking at the BakeLab is a social activity and a group effort!
